Matthew Wicker's Bar Mitzvah

Saturday, we photographed a bar mitzvah for a young man that we've had the honor of watching grow up! Matthew Wicker celebrated on of the most significant occasions in the life of a Jew. A bar mitzvah symbolizes a young person reaching the age of responsibility within the Jewish Community, and usually takes place during the 13th year.

Saturday began with the ceremony at Temple Beth El in Charlotte. Matthew's parents, Suzanna and Bobby, hosted a brunch at their home following the ceremony. There, we photographed some family portraits. Then Saturday night, the celebration ended with a party at the Marriott at Southpark. The theme of the party was Hollywood Red Carpet event! The decorations were great and the kids had a blast!

Did we mention they had a photo booth? Too much fun!!

Here's a sneak peek! Take a look.

Wow! The pictures look great. Thank you so much for being a part of this very special day for our family. We would not have wanted to share this day with anyone else. We can't wait to see the rest of the pictures.
With love,
Suzanna
