Patterson Family
Earlier this week, we had the chance to photograph the Patterson family on their farm in Mount Ulla, NC. We've had the privilege of watching the Patterson children grow up over the years, through family portraits, dance portraits, and our frequent visits to the farm for events.
We toured the farm and stopped at different locations we felt suited a portrait! The llama was waiting for his turn for a portrait.

Then we arrived at the "corn box." Yes, it's what you're thinking - just like a sand box, but filled with corn!
We took our shoes off and had a little fun too!
We encourage location sessions for family portraits. We tend to capture more of the personality of the family in their own atmosphere. Here's a couple more recent location sessions we've blogged:
Williams Family at their home.
Boyter Family at Lake Nantahala.
For more information about the Patterson Farm, visit their website. They have events throughout the year: Strawberry Patch, Pony Day, Pumpkin Patch, Christmas at the Farm, and more. They even host birthday parties! Check them out!
