Class of '10 Model Shoot (part I)

We had our first session with our Class of 2010 Senior SpokesModels yesterday. They had their hair and make up done, brought some fabulous outfits, and we played for hours!

Tara was full of excitement! Who knew carrying equipment and props would be so fun?! (Just kidding!) She was full of creative ideas!

Karen has been photographing Randi Lee since she was a tiny baby! This was such an awesome experience to photograph her as a young lady. Before we know it, we'll be photographing her wedding. (No rush though!)

This is only the beginning of our spokesModel model shoots! We'll keep you posted with the others!

Special thanks to Katie for the fabulous hair-dos!

Matthew Wicker's Bar Mitzvah

Saturday, we photographed a bar mitzvah for a young man that we've had the honor of watching grow up! Matthew Wicker celebrated on of the most significant occasions in the life of a Jew. A bar mitzvah symbolizes a young person reaching the age of responsibility within the Jewish Community, and usually takes place during the 13th year.

Saturday began with the ceremony at Temple Beth El in Charlotte. Matthew's parents, Suzanna and Bobby, hosted a brunch at their home following the ceremony. There, we photographed some family portraits. Then Saturday night, the celebration ended with a party at the Marriott at Southpark. The theme of the party was Hollywood Red Carpet event! The decorations were great and the kids had a blast!

Did we mention they had a photo booth? Too much fun!!

Here's a sneak peek! Take a look.

IP Home Party

Last Thursday, one of our fabulous clients, Christine Boyter, hosted an IP party at her farm house in Gastonia. (You might remember Christine's family from this!) We had a total of 14 guests that Christine thought would really appreciate the quality of our photography.

Christine's house was perfect for a home party. We didn't have to bring many samples! :)

We brought along some new frames and products that we've recently started selling.

Check out our new "skinny mini" business cards! They're a really neat accent to scatter on tables at parties, weddings, etc.

If you haven't been into the studio lately, you're probably not aware of our metal prints. They can be hung with ribbon, chair, bolts, you name it! Take a peak! (This was one of our hostess gifts for Christine!)

Each lady who attended received a gift bag full of goodies!

Renda and Karen had a presentation for the ladies about IP and what we have to offer.

They had a few contests for the ladies. For example, "Who has the oldest portrait in their wallet??" The winner had a portrait from TEN years ago!

We had a lot of fun with these ladies and we thank Christine for opening her home to us! We look forward to photographing each and every one of their families!
