Update...

To all our family & friends,

I wanted to give you an update on my sister. She is doing well. She is still going through chemotherapy and will be, until after the New Year. She has lost her hair, but as she says, "It's part of the deal." She has taken this with such strength that can only come from God.

I think we have all learned from this. It is the small things in life that mean so much. Take one moment at a time and make the most of it.

Thank you all so much for the donations, cards, letters, and so many success stories of fighting and beating cancer. It all means so much to Rhonda and I. You have all showed what love, hope and faith really mean.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!

Thank you again,
Renda Ayscue

Helping a loved one in need...

We are raising money for a single mother battling breast cancer. She was diagnosed in September at the age of 38. She has since had surgery and started chemotherapy in early November, which she will continue until after Christmas. She is an amazing woman and mother. The reason I know this is she is my sister.

We are asking for a $5 donation to purchase a star in honor or memory of a loved one in your life. These stars will be displayed on our Christmas tree on the front porch of the studio, for everyone to see. For every star you purchase, your name will go into a drawing for a hospitality basket. This basket includes gift cards for dinners and salon treatments, jewelry, family portraits, clothing, etc. donated from local businesses. We will draw the winner the week before Christmas.

All donations will help with her medical bills. If you are not able to make a donation, I simply ask for you to keep her in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

She is someone who has never asked for anything but always gives everything she can to help someone else in need.

Thank you so much for all your thoughts, prayers, and donations!
