IP Wedding: Stiles-Lovelace [06.26.10]

Okay.... we admit we're a little behind on keeping you updated! We just returned from our summer vacation (July 5th - 9th), so now we're playing catch up. You'll accept our apology after you see these fabulous wedding images... promise!

On Saturday, June 26th, Christine Stiles and Nick Lovelace were married at Saint James Lutheran Church in downtown Concord, NC. The exterior of this old stone church is PERFECT for photography... and having a gorgeous couple to photograph helped too!

This image has a lot of significance to Christine's family. They have the same image of Christine's great-grandparents exiting the front of St. James Lutheran after their ceremony many years ago. Our job was to duplicate it! This is a wonderful tradition to continue...

The wedding party was so much fun! They rode a trolley from the church to the reception and Karen rode with them. She photographed some great candids of everyone preparing to celebrate at the Cabarrus Country Club!

Chelish Moore Flowers worked her magic once again. The flowers were a gorgeous colorful mixture to add a splash of color since the ladies wore black. And the country club looks amazing! Paper lanterns hung outside the entrance and accented the dance floor. It was gorgeous!

Shortly after the wedding, we received a thank you card from Nancy (Christine's mom).

"Dear Karen, Renda, and Jessica,

Words cannot express my heartfelt appreciation for you all. The calm and efficiency in which you perform your job is truly a gift. Christine, Nick, and I fell so great about your contribution to their special day. We thank you so much for all your many efforts and for helping us along the way.

Irresistible Portraits: Benbow-Cisowski Wedding [06.12.10]

Mary Benbow and Ted Cisowski married Saturday, June 12th, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Concord, NC. Karen, Renda, and Jessica were there to capture all the details of their big day.

First Presbyterian Church is one of the most beautiful churches in this area and it's music to IP's ears when a bride mentions holding their ceremony there! Not only is the exterior of the church gorgeous with archways and a courtyard, but next door is a gorgeous building where the girls get ready.

Ted is a major in the marines, so we had the pleasure of working with men in uniform all day! They were a great group of guys to work with. We want to thank all the men and women who serve this country!

They had a grand exit after the ceremony. "Kiss to Pass!"

Their reception was held at the Embassy Suites Concord. This is a beautiful venue... then again Chelish Moore Flowers can make anything beautiful with her talent!

We were blessed to work with some very established vendors during Mary and Ted's wedding day. KA Studios documented their day and Kim McIlwaine (of The Bride's Choice) directored the event.

Brawley-Wessel Wedding - 09.05.09

This past Saturday, Tara and Renda photographed the wedding of Erica Brawley and Andrew Wessel. Erica and Jessica were college roommates and are the best of friends, so as soon as Andrew popped the question, Erica reserved their big day with IP!

Erica and Andrew met when they began working together in Charlotte. Andrew proposed on their one year anniversary and they began their lives as Mr. & Mrs. Wessel on Saturday! The ceremony and reception was held at Firethorne Country Club in Ballantyne. The venue was absolutely beautiful and we couldn't have asked for better weather!



The wedding party was a fun group. All the girls grew up together, even graduated high school together. And the guys were great friends of Andrew's. Three of them drove HOURS from up north to be a part of his big day.

The talented Chelish Moore worked her magic once again! This was already a beautiful building with incredible architecture and details, but after Chelish was done, it looked AMAZING. Erica chose champagne and gold accents to go with the neutral flowers in her reception. Chelish was sure to cover every last detail.

The reception was a blast! Erica and Andrew chose Black & Blue as their band. They were great. The dance floor was packed all night!

Renda was sandwiched by two groomsmen at one point... but it doesn't look like she minded.

It was an honor to photograph Erica and Andrew's special day. They make a beautiful couple and we can't wait to show off all the images!

Haywood-Green Wedding

On Saturday, Amanda Haywood and Jason Green became Mr. & Mrs. Green at Kannapolis Church of God. Renda and Tara were there to capture it all!

We knew we would have fun with any bride who wears lime green shoes! ... and we did! Here's a sneak peek.

This is one of our personal favorites. This is one of Amanda's favorite Bible verses. How appropriate for this occasion!

The reception was held at the Harvest House and Chelish Moore did her magic once again!

And the food was delicious! Amanda's dad owns Varsity BBQ in Kannapolis, so the food was outstanding!

We want to thank Amanda and Jason for letting us be a part of your special day. We had a blast with your wedding party. They were a fun bunch! We wish you two endless happiness together!

Cohen-Bustle Wedding

Ashley Cohen and Brandon Bustle tied the knot on June 6th. Their wedding was held at Central United Methodist Church in Concord, NC on Union Street. This is a beautiful area around downtown.

We had perfect wedding day weather - sunny with beautiful clouds! All in all, the day was perfect - beautiful people, perfect weather, and everyone stayed on schedule!

Brandon was the best groom! You can see how much he loves Ashley by the way he looks at her.

The reception was held at the Hotel Concord, within walking distance from the church. Chelish Moore did a great job on the flowers and decorations at the reception. According to Tara, the Hotel Concord was "decked out" with Chelish Moore flowers!

The reception was a blast! The dance floor was packed and there was no shy dancers to be seen. And of course, we joined in for a few dances, as usual!

Before the end of the night, we had to have one last image! We stopped traffic, but don't worry... no accidents!

Basinger-Hall Wedding

We recently photographed Heather & Brian's big day at the Catawba Chapel in Salisbury, NC. The forecast wasn't looking very good, but the weather cleared in perfect time for us to get some amazing images of this beautiful couple. This was truly a photographer's dream - beautiful people, beautiful architecture, and beautiful weather!

Heather & Brian decided to see each other before the ceremony. It was incredible to share this special moment with them. You could see the love and appreciation for one another on their faces.... and it gave us a chance for more GREAT images!

Is this adorable or what? Their son, Jackson, was their ring bearer on their big day. He is so cute and he was excited to see his mommy in that big white dress!

Heather & Brian were such a fun couple to work with. We were so blessed to share this day with them and celebrate their love for each other.

Carawan-Meadows Wedding

Evie Carawan and Travis Meadows tied the knot at Beaver Dam in Mooresville last Friday evening. This location had so many great opportunities for photography and of course it helped that Evie has a classic beauty that is every photographer's dream.

We had a blast with the wedding party, as you can see! The crowd was full of past and future IP brides, as well as dancers that kept the dancefloor hoppin!

Chelish Moore provided the flowers and, as always, she did an amazing job! And for all you future brides, here's an idea: Evie chose to have a dessert reception, which means lots of sweet treats! Kristin Rodgers catered the assortment of beautiful desserts. (You'll see a few in the video!)

Grand Opening of Chelish Moore Flowers

Congratulations to Chelish Moore on the grand opening of her new location at 35 Market Street in Concord! She hosted an evening of refreshments and mingling in her beautiful shop. Here's a few candids from that evening and also some of her beautiful work!

We have worked many weddings with Chelish and we'll be the first to admit she has found her calling! Her talent is not limited to flowers... as you can see by the images above!
