Grand Opening of Chelish Moore Flowers

Congratulations to Chelish Moore on the grand opening of her new location at 35 Market Street in Concord! She hosted an evening of refreshments and mingling in her beautiful shop. Here's a few candids from that evening and also some of her beautiful work!

We have worked many weddings with Chelish and we'll be the first to admit she has found her calling! Her talent is not limited to flowers... as you can see by the images above!
You can check out Chelish's work at http://www.chelishmoore.com/ or stop by her shop at 35 Market Street in downtown Concord.

Steve Cook's Nationwide Insurance

Last Thursday, Renda visited Steve Cook's Nationwide Insurance office in Kannapolis, just right down the street from our studio. They were having a Nascar Nationwide Series Show Car Event!

Here is Steve and his staff around the Nationwide car.

They had a nascar simulator. Look like fun, huh?

They had prizes and games for the kids too!

Here's Steve with the '08 car!

Hope everyone had fun!

Thermafuse Event

Last weekend was busy, busy, busy! We photographed the Thermafuse council meeting Saturday and Sunday.

This council meeting is a great opportunity for stylists and distributors to meet and interact. The distributors set their goals and plans for 2009 and the stylists attended educational programs. Thermafuse presented their product promos, new products, and introduced new programs.

Here's a few candids from the weekend! Taking a tour of the distribution center in Kannapolis...

... their award winning package design...

...meeting and greeting...

... and great entertainment - "ThermaTones."

Thanks Van, for letting us be a part of the big event!

If you haven't heard of Thermafuse before, check out their website.

Try It On for the Cure Update

Our Focused on a Cure exhibit debuted at the Coldwater Creek "Try It On for the Cure" last Sunday. They had a great turn out and our exhibit was a hit!

Incase you didn't know, for every customer that tried on an item in their store, Coldwater Creek donated $1 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Here's some images of our exhibit set out around the store.

With every purchase, customers received a raffle ticket towards some great door prizes. On the right is Carol. She won our IP gift card door prize!

Congratulations Carol! We'll see you soon!

Above is Laura and her sister. Laura is a 10 year breast cancer survivor! She was participating in the event with Arbonne make up. They were giving samples and mini makeovers throughout the day.

And here's the survivor models (Rhonda on the right). They modeled Coldwater Creek clothing throughout the event and talked to the customers. They are posed above with Tory from the Susan G. Komen Foundation! She was a model last year.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this great event. Every dollar counts towards a cure! If you weren't able to make it to Northlake Sunday, keep an eye on the other locations where our exhibit will be displayed!

Birthday Blessings

Guest Blogger: Tara Molles, Associate Photographer

On Thursday, July 10th, I photographed a very special birthday party. This party, planned by "Birthday Blessings," was held at the Salvation Army Center of Hope in Charlotte. Birthday Blessings hosts one party a month for the children living at the center with birthdays in that month. The children were treated with a bounce house, remote control cars, characters, face painting, goody bags, and cake, of course!

Charlotte Baby & Child editor Corey Williams and her daughter attended the event as well. (That's Corey in the pink.) They will be featuring the event in their fall issue of the magazine so be sure to check it out!

Here are a handful of images from the party!

Enjoy,
Tara
